To learn more about the potential for winter sport in Pakistan,
Walkabout Films invited a team of extreme skiers
to survey the northern areas of Pakistan.
For two years the teams surveyed some of the most famous
Shimshal, Khunjerab, Fairy Meadows and Kaghan to
determine the best winter sport spots.
Part one, Exploration, documents the two years of research
and exploration to identify the most suitable areas for
Winter sports in Pakistan and have some fun in the process.

Part two, Deosai, features the extreme ski event which was the culmination of this research and exploration - the first event of its kind to be held at such high altitude anywhere in the world.
It is clear from the film that the
19 international skiers, snowboarders
and snow-kiters had the time of their life on one of the most amazing snow-laden playgrounds in the world.
